My Personal Request
I’ve spent my career working on affordable housing, driven by a commitment to create spaces where people can thrive. When I started Origin Studio, it was a new approach to housing solutions—one that fused thoughtful design with sustainability and dignity. I’ve poured my design sense and dedication into delivering the best quality, without compromise.
Raw materials and labor come with inherent costs, but making the world a more beautiful place is a choice. The way we design and offer housing is filtered through the social dynamics of how we value each other. Dignity is infused in these choices—it lives both within us and in the spaces we create.
Starting Origin Studio and being at the helm of design decisions and housing delivery puts me in a unique position to explore how we can offer high-quality designs at multiple price points. This flexibility allows us to make thoughtful, dignified housing more accessible.
As any business owner knows, the work is relentless, and finding financial resources to invest in new designs, engineering, permitting, and production is never easy. That’s why I started this campaign: to share this mission with a larger community of people who share these values.

But even the most cost-effective ADUs on the market are still out of reach for many.
At Origin Studio, we believe affordable housing shouldn’t come at the expense of beauty, sustainability, or dignity. That’s why we’re embarking on a bold new project: designing a lower-cost ADU model that’s accessible to more people while maintaining the uplifting design and detail we’re known for.
